As you may have seen from our email sign-offs, we were shortlisted 3 months ago for the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards’ “Niche Law Firm of the Year”. Although in December we were voted ‘National IP Law Firm of The Year’, this time we were up against a huge variety of firms in every sector, not just IP.

Anyway the award ceremony was last night and you may have guessed now what happened. Yes, we won! The judges singled out our leading expertise, our track record and the quality of work we’re doing (and the fact that it’s being done at Yorkshire, not London, prices), and that we’re able to serve our national and multi-national household name clients all from the heart of Yorkshire. They also appreciated our pro-bono work, and what we’ve done to provide hands on experience to up and coming students committed to IP law.

We’d just like to pass on our huge thanks to all our existing clients and contacts, without whom this second major award for our firm would not have been possible.
